Before starting on this 7 day GM Program, you must completely refrain from drinking alcohol. You should preferably take 10-15 glasses of water everyday as it helps hose down the toxins from your body. You can drink the following beverages during the program – club soda, water flavored with lemon, black coffee – no cream, no substitutes and no sugar.
Important: No fruit juices before Day Seven.
Day 1 Getting ready for the diet. Eat any fruits the whole day, except for bananas. Day 1 lets you prepare your body for the diet by providing with only the basic nutrition.
Day 2 Calorie-free. Eat vegetables of your choice in any quantity, they can be raw or cooked.Do not include vegetables made in curry or with spices. Take steamed or lightly sauteed vegetables with a bit butter or salad dressing. You may choose to have a baked potato in breakfast. Remember, you should take zero calories, high nutrition vegetables for the rest of the day. No seasoning is allowed. A dash of salt or pepper is all right. With vegetables providing essential nutrients and fiber.
Day 3 Ready to burn fats. You can eat both fruits and vegetables. An unlimited amount of fruits and vegetables can be eaten today. But bananas and potatoes are not allowed today. Your body is now prepared to start burning the fat stored.
Day 4 Replenish lost sodium and potassium. Eat just bananas and milk. The maximum limit is eight bananas and three glasses of milk. You can break your meals according to your wish. This is done to make up for lost sodium and potassium. And, don't forget your water.
Day 5 Cleansing. Today is beef and tomatoes day. You can eat lean beef and at least six tomatoes today. The beef provides iron and proteins and the tomatoes assist digestion. You may also eat a hamburger without cheese. This way you will cleanse out the uric acid from your system.
Day 6 See the difference. You can have beef and vegetables. On this day you may eat a large amount of cooked beef and non-spicy vegetables. The beef gives you iron while you get vitamins and fiber from the vegetables. By this day there must be a noticeable difference in your appearance.
Day 7 Eat all you can. Eat brown rice, vegetables, and drink fruit juice. You can eat unlimited amount of fruits and vegetables. Limitation: You may eat one cup of rice today.
